OUR SAKE MARKET 16-17-18 JULY AT MARKETHALLE NEUN
Great guests coming over: Sake from Japan and Berlin – a mix of young, wild newcomers and traditional masters. Four breweries are flying in straight from Japan with bottles never tried in Berlin before. Expect dozens of hand-crafted varieties to taste, 1,000 years of history in your glass, and a real Sake Samurai on site.
The art of Japanese brewing, savoured like fine wine. Three ingredients: rice, water, yeast. From which springs a world of flavours that defies convention. From crystal-clear, floral and elegant to unfiltered, wild and pleasantly edgy.
Our Sake Market brings the craft to Markthalle Neun. Quality that stands apart from mass production, with a focus on the people behind it. No formality, no technical jargon. Instead, simplicity: straightforward tasting, conversation on equal terms and a direct link to breweries and experts. Grab a glass and rediscover sake.
OUR SAKE CLUB x Omer Mantin
For our second edition of our pop up series, we're excited to welcome you back for a special summer dinner celebrating Nordic seaweed as the central ingredient.
Once again, we'll take you through a full experience of 5 courses, each paired with a carefully selected sake or tea(alcohol-free option), exploring the remarkable versatility of sea algae through different techniques and preparations.
The seaweed is sourced from Austerregion, where both wild and cultivated varieties grow in the cold Nordic coastal waters. It is harvested sustainably by hand divers, who carefully cut the algae above its base so it can continue to grow naturally. Immediately after harvesting, the seaweed is processed directly on the coast, gently rinsed with seawater and preserved in sea salt to maintain its exceptional freshness, purity, and flavour.

OSC x SAKANA - Hamachi cutting show
Our Sake Club welcomes Sakana for a special one-night pop-up dinner on May 24. Reservations only! Book now via link in bio.
Across two seatings, from 18:00–20:00 and 20:30–22:30, the evening will unfold through a five-course à la carte menu centered on fish, including a live hamachi cutting show by chef Shinya Sakana, who was born in Iwate Prefecture in northern Japan. Rooted in his experience of fishing on Hachijojima and shaped by a wish to share the beauty of spring fish from Japan with Berlin, Sakana’s menu brings together sashimi, seafood rice bowls, oysters, white asparagus, and seasonal details with precision and restraint.
Our Sake Club will accompany the dinner with a dedicated Sake pairing, highlighting the range, texture, and quiet depth that make Sake such a natural companion to food. As with everything we do, the focus is on craftsmanship, discovery, and the shared atmosphere that forms around our communal table in the heart of Kreuzberg.

Decoder Prakasa album presentation listening session at Our Sake Club
Join us on Saturday, February 21 at 7PM for Decoder Prakasa album presentation listening session at Our Sake Club. Special curation of 4 varieties of Sake will be available by the glass. No reservations — first come, first served.
After years of refining his sound, Decoder reveals a more emotional, expressive side of his world: subtle shifts, surprising moments, and a spacious soundscape that invites you to get lost, imagine, and discover something new in every track. Organic, timeless, and entirely his own — defined by a rare mastery of simplicity and restraint, always recognizable yet constantly evolving.
Prakasa takes its name from the Sanskrit for “light” and “manifestation,” a concept echoed in the cover artwork and central to Decoder’s vision. Raised far from the gravitational pull of dance-music hubs, Dallas-born Decoder built his craft outside traditional DJ circuits — shaping a singular, independent voice that still defines his sound today.
Prakasa will be released on Planet X on February 20th.
